This certification ensures that the espresso meets traditional Italian preparation and flavor standards. This version often includes a blend of Robusta, contributing to a balanced flavor profile and a signature thick crema.
In contrast, a more refined version in specialty coffee exclusively uses 100% high-quality Arabica, which is lightly roasted to highlight delicate flavors such as fruit, floral, or regional spice characteristics.
