Ibairi
The Ibairi coffee variety is a hybrid between Red Bourbon and Mokka. The name Ibairi originates from Tupi, the language of Brazil’s indigenous people, meaning “small and sweet fruit”. This variety features small, round coffee beans with a natural mucilage that carries a distinctive sweetness.
Cultivated in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, particularly at the Finca Boa Vista farm at an elevation of 1,150 meters above sea level, Ibairi thrives in ideal climate and soil conditions. With these characteristics, Ibairi clearly demonstrates its potential to become a Specialty coffee variety, offering a refined and unique flavor that meets the demanding standards of the premium coffee market
