Try the racemosa coffee and the ratnagiri coffee. Basically the most expensive and cheapest coffee and you will know the difference. Truly an experience. Highly recommend.

Chanced upon this store by chance! The staff were very friendly and patient in explaining the different coffee bean options and explained how to taste, what to expect and how to best experience the chosen beans. We tried the Racemosa beans and were blown away by the uniqueness of it's aroma, umami and taste. The aftertaste is interesting - neither acidic nor bitter but yet has a slight sweet taste enveloping your mouth if you take a sip of water after. The interior is very spacious, monochrome with peaceful splashes of greenery. It felt very nice and calm here! Would definitely find time to pop by again the next time we are in HCMC!

We love our local coffee roasters in Canada, but the experience here is truly unique, choose from a variety of amazing single origin direct trade coffees, all expertly labelled with QR codes with more information, including a map showing exactly wheee the farm is. Dai, our barista, was very knowledgeable and we loved the personalized service of having the pourover right in front of us, with a review of every step, grind size, temperature, and ratio. Well worth it for any coffee lover!

I really enjoyed my visit to XLIII Coffee at 178A Pasteur. The café itself is stunning—minimalist, modern, and super clean, with a cool "coffee lab" atmosphere. The staff were top-notch—they truly took the time to explain the different beans and the brewing process. I particularly loved the Finca La Palestina, which was delicate, and the chocolatey notes of the other pour-over I tried (Sudan Rume). The flavors were clear and distinct. It’s a great spot if you appreciate a beautiful space and staff who are passionate about sharing their knowledge.

Legit Coffee in like a modern minimalist kind of place which has 3 floors (drink prep is on the 2nd level). Pastries were good but sadly no spreads to go along with the croissants. Adopt a modern espresso brewing method - turbo shot where coffee notes are very clearly defined. Not your typical rich and intense flavour or textured kind of coffee but more like a smooth, clean and light coffee. Unique beans available but pretty pricey though. Enjoyed the ice black which is almost tea like and somewhat refreshing on a hot day. Note: if you are going with friends who are hoping to get other drinks besides coffee, they do not sell non-coffee drinks though they provided us with water and a glass of Cascara tea, also known as coffee cherry tea, which is a beverage made from the dried skins of coffee cherries.

The best coffee house for people who enjoy the science, the logistics and general aesthetics. The place is properly lit and well set up for social media posting due to the proper muted white lighting. The coffee in general is fantastic, and the barista explains the science/logistics behind attaining the beans + the washes and the brewing process. Makes you feel profound for a dose of caffeine. Not your average experience for morning coffee, but worth every penny. Duy was our Barista, he was spectacular and the catalyst for the overall 5 star experience. A must stop if you are a coffee loving tourist!

Was there with my family and friend for a nice cuppa. And we got more than we bargained for! Excellent and friendly service by Griffith, introducing the coffee to us. Totally exudes the hospitality of Vietnam. Was worth it to brave the rain (I even fell in front of the cafe coz it was slippery =p ) for it! Will definitely visit the cafe again!

I've never had coffee like this before. The turboshot of coffee of Indian origin was especially surprising and special. I highly recommend enjoying this lightly roasted specialty coffee and getting the extremely professional explanation from the staff. On top of that, they have a lovely minimalist design with a super entrance with garden.

Ordering here is almost meditative. You’re not handed a menu right away, instead, a barista approaches with gentle curiosity and asks about your flavor preferences, guiding you toward a specific bean and brewing method. I chose a single-origin pour-over that arrived with citrus blossom notes up front and a honeyed jasmine finish that lingered softly. Every element, from the grind to the pour, felt intentional and unhurried. Dairy alternatives are expertly steamed, never overpowering the coffee’s flavor, giving each latte the same clarity as a black brew. Deeply thankful that I got served by Đại, whom is very understand about the product and fun to talk with. The small details elevate the experience. Drinks come out at just the right pace, never rushed, yet never cold. The interior stays hushed even when full, and staff move with calm precision, ensuring your cup stays full without interrupting your moment. It’s thoughtfully designed for lingering, with bench seating that invites you to sit and savor. Prices are on the premium side, but every sip feels worth it. XLIII Specialty Coffee isn’t for a quick caffeine fix, it’s for those who want to taste the craftsmanship behind each cup. Slow down, choose your brew, and let the flavors unfold. It’s a quiet celebration of coffee done right.

From the moment I walked in, Kathy was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She was patient and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about the different beans and brewing methods. Her passion for coffee was contagious, and she took the time to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. She even gave me a great recommendation that I wouldn't have tried otherwise. I searched and came in here because I wanted to drink delicious coffee while taking a walk alone. The staff explained and recommended the beans very kindly, and especially the server in charge, Jason, was very kind and gave me a lot of information. The Sudan rume #00284 I tasted was a very good coffee bean with a proper mix of acidity and fruity. Everything was perfect and I will definitely visit again. It was a precious experience.

Great spot for coffee lovers to grab a more elevated and carefully made cup of coffee! Perhaps a splurge compared to some of the other cafes but the care and precision that goes in to making each cup definetly makes it worth it. Not the spot for a sugary egg coffee or condensed milk, rather the focus is the coffee flavor itself, with carefully selected beans from around the world.
