Capensis
Capensis is an obsolete scientific name (a former name) once used to refer to a plant species in South Africa that was mistakenly identified as coffee.
The key characteristic is that this species belongs to the genus Tricalysia (a different group of plants), not the genus Coffea. Therefore, it does not produce coffee beans and has absolutely no coffee flavor.
Both the Coffea and Tricalysia groups belong to the same large plant family called Rubiaceae. This reclassification helps science accurately identify what true coffee plants are.
