Mejorado, also known as Typica Mejorado, is an Arabica coffee variety originating from Pichincha Province, Ecuador, and is believed to have been developed at a Nestlé breeding facility.

In terms of appearance, Typica Mejorado grows tall with a straight trunk and looks remarkably similar to Gesha. In the cup, it is elegant and refined, offering notes of jasmine, orange blossom, peach, pear, and sweet honey, with a gentle citrus-like acidity, smooth body, and a long clean finish.

Mejorado has also proven its quality through outstanding competition results. At the 2021 Cup of Excellence Ecuador, this variety claimed 1st, 3rd, and 4th place in the same competition, a rare achievement for a single coffee variety.
