Parainema
Parainema is a hybrid Arabica coffee variety belonging to the Sarchimor group, developed by the Honduran Coffee Institute (IHCAFE) in the 1980s with the goal of creating a cultivar that combines strong disease resistance with high cup quality potential.
Parainema is renowned for its vibrant and complex flavor profile, featuring bright citrus notes complemented by caramel, jasmine, and blackberry, and finishing with a creamy, well-balanced mouthfeel.
Thanks to its balance between stable yield and exceptional cup quality, Parainema has become increasingly favored among specialty coffee roasters and producers worldwide, emerging as a symbol of harmony between modern coffee genetics and the art of flavor.
