XLIII Coffee Marks a Milestone by Securing Three Limited Coffee Lots from Daterra
On November 25 2025, became a memorable date for XLIII Coffee as we successfully secured three limited coffee lots from Daterra Coffee – a pioneer in research, technology, and sustainable development in Brazil’s specialty coffee sector. This achievement not only reflects XLIII Coffee’s expertise and credibility in the specialty coffee market but also underscores our ongoing commitment to bringing refined, rare flavor experiences to coffee lovers in Vietnam.
During this year’s auction, XLIII Coffee was 1 of only 13 outstanding companies worldwide to gain access to Daterra’s limited lots. This means that only a very small number of global brands had the opportunity to source these “masterpiece” coffees. Notably, acquiring 3 out of a total of 29 lots released worldwide highlights XLIII Coffee’s serious commitment to sourcing high-quality beans for research, product development, and sharing knowledge about specialty coffee.

Highlights and Key Figures from This Year’s Auction
The 2025 Daterra auction recorded 1,043 total bids, painting a vivid picture of global interest and competition within the specialty coffee community. The total auction value reached $74,946, with a weighted average price of $41.73/lb, while the highest lot achieved $101.00/lb, showcasing the rarity and strong appeal of these specialty coffee lots.
This year’s auction was also a journey back to authentic Brazil, a Brazil that preserves childhood memories, traditional customs, and the rich heritage of its language. The “MASTERPIECES by Daterra” lots were named after Brazilian colloquial expressions, which have no direct translation but evoke universal feelings and experiences. This allowed the international community to experience a slice of Brazilian culture, from its language and humor to its joyful, creative way of life.
2025 was also a challenging year for the coffee sector, with extreme weather, low rainfall, high temperatures, and economic instability creating obstacles. Yet, Daterra remained steadfast in its commitment to innovation and quality, producing exceptional coffee lots despite a significant reduction in total harvest volume. The auction stands as a testament to Brazil’s resilience and unique identity, where challenges become catalysts for creativity and value.
