Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 gathers the beauty of the growing area to mature

Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 green sprout is grown in Valle del Cauca, Trujillo. The area is located on the eastern flank of the Western Cordillera, in Colombia’s rich Andean subregion. This land is famous for its vast jungles and mountains ranging from 1,000 to more than 3,000 meters high, suitable for cultivating the premium flavor of Gesha coffee varieties. Besides, this area also has many small rivers and streams such as Culebras, Cuancua, Caceres and Blanco flowing in, enriching soil and abundant water. Thanks to the alluvium from the confluence of rivers, green coffee plants receive natural energy and absorb more and more elements, creating diversity in flavor.

Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 Coffee is cultivated according to a sustainable model

Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 originates from the Panamanian Gesha variety. The seeds were researched by the two operators of Cafe Granja La Esperanza – Rigoberto Herrera and Luis Eduardo Herrera and brought back to Colombia in 2007. To preserve the uniqueness of the variety and develop the flavor profile, they decided to plant This Gesha coffee tree sprouts on hills with slopes over 40 degrees. With a steep slope, manual care and harvesting causes many difficulties, but the team still strives to closely monitor each stage of growth. The plant’s growth process is monitored and adjusted using organic methods, in harmony with nature, limiting negative impacts on the environment.

During harvest season, coffee is picked entirely by hand and follows strict standards. Collectors are often carefully trained and guided over a long period of time to master their skills. They receive a worthy salary and a safe working environment. Coffee will be checked regularly and only coffee cherries that have reached optimal ripeness will be picked when they are plump and sweetest.

After being picked, they will be washed and immediately wet-processed to preserve their essence. In this process, the farm team will use grinding machines and modern equipment to keep the coffee beans clean and intact while still saving the amount of water needed. Once the coffee has been completely washed, it will be dried by machine. The temperature is closely monitored and fluctuates between 35°C and 45°C, and the final moisture ratio is around 10.5% to ensure the best quality.

Flavors of Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 is lively and sophisticated

Possessing the characteristics of the Gesha line, Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 satisfies the taste buds with richness, multi-layeredness and balance. The main scent structure is Malic Acid, a harmonious combination of citrus fruit flavors and flavoring compounds. Therefore, you can be very impressed with the extremely vivid sweet and sour layers when enjoying. In particular, the characteristic sweetness can be smelled right in the first layer of scent. The fragrance has a hint of jasmine, red apple, and pure tangerine. The smell is gentle, but clear and sharp, like there are actually pure white flower petals and crispy fruit slices in a cup of coffee.

Take the opportunity to taste the sweet aroma while it’s still hot. You will be surprised as soon as the coffee comes into contact with the sensitive cells on the tip of your tongue. The mouthfeel is moderately crispy and spongy, like biting into an apple. The fresh sensation of tangerine and jasmine mixed with the taste of apricot spreads throughout the mouth. Heat causes acid and sugar molecules to move more quickly. When the heat gradually dissipates, the acidity and sweetness suddenly roll together, giving you sweet and sour notes like bananas, red apples and oranges. But if you add a few ice cubes, the flavor base will change with a bright, crisp taste like green apple and lemon. Click lightly, let the coffee layer penetrate deep into the epidermis and stop and wait a bit. Buenos Aires Gesha #0370 will highlight the sweetness resonated from the base notes and give you sweet endings such as red apple, banana and jasmine.

Nueva Alianza Maragogipe #4735 – The “Giant” at the center of attention

Amidst a world of countless specialty coffee beans, Nueva Alianza Maragogipe #4735 emerges as a symbol of grandeur, instantly commanding attention with its distinct appearance. Affectionately dubbed the “Giant” for its impressively mutated “Elephant Bean” size, lot #4735 from Nueva Alianza stands as a testament to nature’s wonders in the Cusco region. Yet, its true allure extends far beyond its imposing exterior; hidden within these colossal beans lies a gentle “soul” blooming with pure floral and crystalline fruit notes.

Nueva Alianza Sidra #4736 – The sweetness born from the resilience of the Andes

Unlike the airy aromatic layers so often encountered, a cup of Nueva Alianza Sidra #4736 takes command of the palate through a distinctly physical sense of “weight” the creamy richness of Blueberry Yogurt and the dense, syrupy sweetness of a spoonful of Berry Jam. This shimmering, viscous body, achieved through the traditional Natural process, is the compressed result of the harsh cold currents that sweep across the Andes at 1,820 meters above sea level. At a deeper level, the sheer weight carried within this cup becomes a beautiful metaphor for the iron discipline and resilience of producer Dwight Aguilar Masías  a man who has spent his entire life holding his ground, protecting an inherited landscape against the brutal upheavals of time and circumstance.

Ziriguidum #2 – A Proud Rhythm from the Heart of the Cerrado Savanna

In the native language of Brazil, Ziriguidum is an onomatopoeia capturing the powerful, frenetic rhythm of Samba percussion. Yet, as the namesake for the Ziriguidum #2 – Masterpieces Auction 2025 lot, this rhythm takes on a quieter, more profound meaning. It perfectly encapsulates a beautiful natural paradox: the flourishing of the fragile, caffeine-deficient Laurina variety amidst the harsh, arid expanse of the Cerrado savanna.

Rejecting all artificial fermentation techniques, producer Daterra Coffee preserves this pure genetic code through a meticulous Natural process, guided only by the primal sun. To taste Ziriguidum #2 is not merely to experience a sparkling flavor profile; it is an exploration of nature’s resilience, ecological restoration, and the absolute pinnacle of artisanal craft.
